Students block roads in Dhaka protest

Students of a university in Bangladesh blocked a busy road in Dhaka to protest against alleged violence.

Protesters from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology claim they were attacked by members of Dhaka University, taking to the streets to demand a more secure campus.

The Palashi intersection, a five-way crossroads in the city, was blocked by the protestors, who are also demanding access to CCTV footage of what they believe to be incidents of two separate attacks on alumni on Friday, 27 October.
