Students clashed with authorities in Kashmir over the deaths of civilians during unrest earlier in the week.
13 suspected militants, five civilians and three soldiers were killed when violence erupted in the region on Sunday 1 April.
Curfews were imposed, and many businesses and schools were forced to close. Educational institutions were reopened in Srinagar on Thursday, but students organised marches in protest and allegedly pelted police with stones and set fire to a police bunker.
