Thousands of commuters in Mumbai have been left stranded after a bridge collapsed.
The railway bridge at Andheri station fell through due to heavy monsoon rains, injuring five people.
Reports say train services were disrupted and railway stations became increasingly crowded. The disruption to the rail service also caused severe congestion on the roads.
Officials say the quick actions of a train driver who pulled an emergency break as the bridge collapsed potentially saved many lives.
