Three female students were subject to an attack with acid in Pakistan - allegedly motivated by the rejection of a marriage proposal.
The attack took place in Gujrat, in Punjab province, and is claimed to have involved three male attackers.
The police said the victims – two sisters and another girl – were waiting at a bus stop when the acid was thrown at them from a motorbike.
They have been taken to hospital for treatment to hand and facial burns.
One of the accused has been arrested but police say the other two – an uncle of the sisters and one of his friends – are on the run.
