Three lawyers have been left injured following a crude bomb attack at Lucknow Court on Thursday.
Following the incident, three lawyers have been hospitalised, with one reportedly sustaining serious injuries.
In the aftermath of the attack, bomb squads and canine units attended the scene and recovered two unexploded devices.
According to police, the motive behind the attack was a dispute between two groups of lawyers, with joint secretary of the Lucknow bar association, Sanjeev Lodhi claiming he was the intended target of the attack.
Speaking on the incident, Lodhi explained he was targeted because he had been complaining about a number of judicial officers.
Following the attack, Joint Police Commissioner Naveen Arora said: " "Investigations are on and initial enquiries indicate it appears to be a case of mutual rivalry between two groups of lawyers.”
