Two men have been arrested in connection with a suspected rape near to the River Ganges in India.
A video emerged of a woman allegedly being sexually assaulted in Patna. It is believed the woman was bathing in the river – considered a holy site in India – when she was dragged out.
Controversy surrounds how the police came to know of the incident. They claim it only came to light when they came across the footage, however some reports say the woman had earlier been turned away from a police station when she came forward.
