The bodies of two men were found after they drowned whilst visiting the beach during the Eid holidays in Pakistan.
The men were part of a group of seven friends who travelled to Sandspit beach in Karachi on Sunday 17 June.
Reports say that although the group were informed by locals that it was dangerous to swim in the area they were spotted entering the water.
Two bodies were recovered on Monday 18 June.
An officer revealed that a ban on swimming in the area was imposed due to rough waters but lifeguards were not available at the beach as it was early in the morning.
