Two protesters have been killed in riots following the rape and murder of a child in Pakistan.
Protests were sparked after the body of seven-year-old Zainab was found in a rubbish dump on Tuesday 9 January in the city of Kasur in Pakistan’s Punjab province.
Demonstrators claim authorities are not doing enough to stem a spate of abductions, sexual assaults and killings.
The two protesters were killed when police shot at a crowd who were attempting to storm police headquarters in Kasur.
