Two people were killed in a stampede at the funeral of a veteran politician in India.
M Karunanidhi was being treated for age-related illnesses but died on Tuesday 7 August at the age of 94.
The stampede took place whilst his funeral procession made its way through the southern city of Chennai, as police struggled to control thousands of mourners.
Officials said 41 people were taken to hospital with injuries.
