A court in India has sentenced two men to death over the killing of 59 people on a train in Gujarat.
Farooq Bhana and Imran Sheru were convicted of conspiring in the burning of two coaches in February 2002 in Godhra.
The court acquitted three other men.
In March 2011 the court had convicted 31 people in the case and awarded the death sentence to 11 of them.
However, the Gujarat High Court had in October 2017 commuted the death sentence of the 11 convicts to life imprisonment.
