Police in India have arrested a doctor who is accused of killing a woman and her baby after performing a caesarean section intoxicated.
The BBC reports the baby was declared dead soon after the operation, while the woman died shortly after.
Police in the western state of Gujarat say a breathalyser test has confirmed that Dr PJ Lakhani was drunk.
They are investigating whether the deaths were caused by negligence or due to other medical reasons.
