On Wednesday afternoon an 18 year old woman has shot dead, allegedly by her cousin in a village in Qambar-Shahdadkot in the Sindh district of Pakistan.
Police officials have confirmed they suspect this may have been an “honour killing”
Qubo Saeed Khan Station House Officer said the suspected killer had opened fire on his 18-year-old cousin, who died instantly.
Mohammad Saleem Jarwar, an official of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, said “This it is a matter of deep grief and sorrow, an innocent woman was killed as the world celebrates International Women's Day.
Police officials have confirmed a manhunt for the suspect is underway who is still at large.
