Alan Pardew has left West Brom after just over four months in charge of the struggling club.
The Baggies have parted company with the 56-year-old following eight successive league defeats. He was appointed in November, succeeding Tony Pulis - who was sacked after a run of 10 Premier League games without a victory.
West Brom were beat at home 2-1 by Burnley on Saturday, leaving the side languishing bottom of the league 10 points from safety with six games left.
Coach Darren Moore has taken over the first-team and is likely to stay in charge for the rest of the season.
In a statement the club said: "West Bromwich Albion and Alan Pardew have agreed to mutually part company following discussions between both parties.
"Assistant head coach John Carver will also be leaving.
"The club would like to thank Alan and John for their efforts and wish them well in their future endeavours."
