Arsenal have brought a flourish to transfer deadline day with a club record singing of £56m for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gunners brought the Gabon striker from Borussia Dortmund on what the London club has called a “long term contract”.
They had two offers rejected for the 2015 African Footballer of the Year but managed to secure the transfer after Dortmund completed a deal to sign Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi on loan.
Aubameyang scored 141 goals in 213 games for Dortmund since 2013, including 21 in 24 matches this season.
