Australia’s cricket team bus hit by rock in India

A bus carrying the Australian cricket team was hit by a rock in India.

The incident took place in Guwahati after the visitors beat India in an eight-wicket T20 international match, as players and staff were travelling back to the hotel from the Barsapara Stadium.

Cricket Australia said no one was injured, but the players were "shaken up by the incident".

It is the second such incident in recent weeks, as the Australia team bus was hit by a rock in Chittagong during the second Test against Bangladesh last month.

The series in India is level at 1-1 and concludes on Friday, 13 October, in Hyderabad.
