Birmingham City’s Paul Robinson has been charged with alleged violent conduct.
The charge has come following an off-the-ball incident during Birmingham's trip to Aston Villa on Sunday, 23 April.
The 38-year-old defender was involved in an incident which was not seen by match officials during the game but was captured on video.
Should the charge be upheld, Robinson will be suspended for at least three matches, ruling him out of the rest of the season.
The Blues host Huddersfield on Saturday before a potentially crucial final-day trip to Bristol City, as the midlands team battle to stay in the Championship.
Robinson has until 6pm on Wednesday to reply to the charge.
