There has been a call for Italian footballers to strike over the weekend over the suspension of Sulley Muntari.
The ex-Ghana international was booked for remonstrating with the referee about alleged racist abuse he received from the crowd during a Serie A match on Sunday, 30 April.
The Pescara midfielder then left the field during the game with Cagliari, resulting in a suspension for exiting play without permission.
Ex-Tottenham striker Garth Crooks, a trustee of Kick It Out, has called on players in Italy to boycott fixtures unless Muntari's one-match suspension is withdrawn.
