It has been confirmed that Chris Froome will take on Vuelta a Espana in August.
The 32-year-old has made the announcement on the back of winning his third successive Tour de France, his fourth in total, on Sunday, 23 July.
The Kenyan-born Briton is seeking victory in the Spanish grand tour to become only the third man to win both the Tour de France and Vuelta in the same year.
He could join Jacques Anquetil and Bernard Hinault in holding the Tour-Vuelta double, however, their victories came before the Spanish race moved from April to August.
