The England women’s rugby union team have struck a deal to be paid for the first time during the autumn internationals.
The Rugby Football Union (RFU) and the Rugby Players' Association finalised a deal, which will see the RFU pay a match fee, while the wider squad will get a training fee.
The BBC claims a player involved in all matches will make between £4,000 and £5,000 in total this autumn.
England face Canada in a three-Test series this month, with the opener at Allianz Park on Friday, 17 November.
