A Scottish footballer has been banned after he hurled abuse at a rival over having one eye.
Falkirk forward Kevin O’Hara has been charged with "excessive misconduct" by the Scottish FA and has been suspended for eight matches after the incident in a Challenge Cup match with Dunfermline on 7 October.
In 2006, Northern Irishman Dean Shiels had surgery to remove his right eye, which was damaged in a childhood accident.
O'Hara's team-mate Joe McKee, 25, has been charged with the same offence but it is believed he intends to protest his innocence at a tribunal on 16 November.
