Chelsea striker Fran Kirkby won the inaugural Football Writers’ Association’s Women's Footballer of the Year award.
The 24-year-old England international was also named the PFA Women's Player of the Year on Sunday.
She has scored 22 goals for the Super League One leaders this season.
Kirkby said: "I was really proud to be nominated in the first place but to actually win is a real honour. To be the first recipient of this honour and award is so special."
