The World Cup winning France team is to receive the nation’s highest accolade.
The French presidency has announced the squad will be given the Légion d'Honneur. Les Bleus defeated Croatia 4-2 in the final in Moscow on Sunday - the country's second World Cup in 20 years.
The players will be honoured with a parade on the Champs-Elysees and a presidential reception when they return to Paris.
