Gary Monk has resigned as head coach of Leeds United.
His resignation comes just two days after Italian businessman Andrea Radrizzani completed his takeover of the Championship club.
38-year-old Monk was appointed on a rolling one-year contract last summer. He guided the club to seventh in 2016-17.
A statement from the club said: "While we are deeply saddened by Garry's decision, there is no individual bigger than our club."
Leeds honoured a promise to fans to partially pay back the price of their season ticket for the 2016/17 campaign because they missed out on a playoff place.
