British snowboarder Katie Ormerod has been ruled out of competing in the 2018 Winter Olympics after suffering her second injury in as many days.
The 20-year-old suffered a minor wrist fracture on Wednesday but was deemed fit enough to compete.
However, it has been confirmed she severely fractured her right heel in training on Thursday.
She was due to take part in the slopestyle qualifier in South Korea on Sunday and was also an entry for the big air events.
She became the first Briton to win a slopestyle World Cup gold in Moscow last year and also took bronze at the 2017 X Games.
The British Olympic Association confirmed she will have "emergency surgery" on Friday.
