Lewis Hamilton has praised the crowd at Silverstone following his win at the British Grand Prix on Sunday, 16 July.
The victory sees the Briton equal Jim Clark and Alain Prost's tally of five British Grand Prix victories.
Hamilton secured pole by over half a second and dominated proceedings at the race-proper.
After qualifying, Hamilton claimed that it was the British fans that gave him the edge over his rivals.
He said: “Maybe it's half a second. It feels like it gives you something. It is so energising. You carry that energy. I think that applies to life in general. If you are feeling positive on a day, your day just generally goes a lot better, or if you are around positive people you generally have a better day.”
