Harry Kane will not be able to play until April due to ligament damage.
The 24-year-old England and Tottenham striker injured his right ankle in Sunday's win over Bournemouth, when he collided with Cherries’ goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
The prognosis means he is set to be fit for England's World Cup campaign but will miss Spurs' FA Cup quarter-final at Swansea on Saturday.
He will also miss two England international friendlies - Netherlands on 23 March and Italy on 27 March.
