Huddersfield Town have maintained Premier League status for next season following a nail-biting draw away against Chelsea.
The Yorkshire Terriers put in an at times desperate display to come away with a point from Stamford Bridge.
The visitors scored first, with Depoitre’s goal going completely against the run of play. Chelsea rued many missed chances, particularly from Rudiger. They managed to snatch a goal after a clearance hit Alonso full in the face and ended up in the back of the net.
Huddersfield goalkeeper Jonas Lossl produced a wonderful save to push Andreas Christensen's header onto the post as Chelsea searched for a winner but the match finished 1-1.
Chelsea must now win away at Newcastle on Sunday and hope Liverpool lose at home to Brighton to qualify for the Champions League.
