India and Pakistan set for Champions Trophy final

India and Pakistan are set for what is expected to be a high-tension final in the International Cricket Council’s Champions Trophy final.

In the semi-finals, India beat Bangladesh in a controlled win at Edgbaston and Pakistan comfortably beat England in Cardiff.

The eagerly anticipated final at The Oval will take place this Sunday, 18 June.

India will go into the match as favourites, after trouncing their rivals during a match earlier in the competition. However, Pakistan have steadily improved throughout the tournaments and put on a dominant display against the hosts, England.
