Josh Hodgson will miss the final of the Rugby World Cup 2017 after suffering a knee injury.
The England hooker sustained the injury in the 20-18 win over Tonga in the semi-finals. The 28-year-old had an MRI scan which revealed he may require surgery and is most likely to miss the start of the NRL season with Canberra Raiders.
The world cup final will take place against Australia on Saturday 2 December.
