La Liga rejects Neymar buyout

The lawyers of Neymar have had their payment of a 222m euro buyout clause rejected by La Liga.

The Brazilian is the subject of a world record transfer fee to take the 25-year-old from Barcelona to Paris St-Germain.

After much speculation over his future, the Spanish club finally allowed the forward to enter into talks with PSG.

It is reported that La Liga officials believe PSG are violating Financial Fair Play rules.

The French side said it does not believe the issue will delay Neymar’s transfer.
