Leeds United’s Liam Cooper has been charged with violent conduct following an alleged stamp during a match against Reading on Saturday (1 April 2017).
The charge came after the FA reviewed an incident involving the 25-year-old defender and Reading’s Reece Oxford, which was not seen during the game by match officials.
If Cooper is found guilty then it is possible that he could serve longer than the standard three-match ban, due to the severity of the incident. He has until 6.00pm on Tuesday to respond to the charge.
