Leicestershire have signed two Pakistani seam bowlers.
Mohammad Abbas and Sohail Khan will share the club’s overseas role. Abbas, 27, will be with the team for the majority of the season but could leave for international duty when Pakistan tour England from spring.
33-year-old Khan would then be available to fill in during the former’s absence.
Abbas has 23 wickets in five Test matches at an average of 21.34 and was the top domestic wicket-taker in Pakistan for 2015-16 and 2016-17.
Khan has taken 432 first-class wickets at 24.37 apiece and claimed 13 wickets at 25.00 in two Test appearances when Pakistan last toured England in 2016.
