Conor McGregor claims that he has agreed and signed his half of a deal to fight Floyd Mayweather.
The UFC lightweight is now allegedly just waiting for a response from Mayweather, the former five-weight boxing world champion.
There have been rumours of a proposed bout between the Irishman and Mayweather since late 2016 and if true, these claims will move the fight a step closer.
UFC president Dana White has confirmed that if the bout comes to fruition it would be a boxing match and not MMA.
