The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has suspended events following an earthquake in Mexico City.
More than 200 people were killed in the 7.1 magnitude quake, which struck the city on Tuesday, 19 September.
The 2017 Para Sport Festival, scheduled to run from 30 September to 6 October in the Mexican capital, was to incorporate the powerlifting and swimming championships.
Both events were postponed after the IPC consulted with local government and the organising committee.
A spokesperson from the IPC said they will ensure the safe departure of participants before assessing whether to reschedule in Mexico.
