Man City boss Pep Guardiola and Liverpool have been handed fines by Uefa in relation to Tuesday’s second-leg quarter-final Champions League tie at the Etihad.
Guardiola has been charged with improper conduct after being sent to the stands for the second-half of the match. The Spaniard had reproached referee Antonio Mateu Lahoz on the pitch at half-time during the quarter-final second-leg 2-1 defeat. He was subsequently banned from the touchline.
The improper conduct charge against Guardiola is for communicating with the bench during the second half.
Liverpool have been charged after fireworks were set off and objects thrown inside Etihad Stadium.
