The Philadelphia Eagles beat the New England Patriots 41-33 to win the Super Bowl for the first time.
In what was an astonishing spectacle in Minneapolis, Nick Foles became the first player to throw and catch a touchdown at a Super Bowl.
The game featured just one punt and one sack and was dominated by offence. The Eagles set a new record for the highest number of points conceded by a winning team in the Super Bowl (33).
Amongst other records broken, Tom Brady became the first quarterback in any NFL game to lose after throwing for more than 500 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.
