Real considering £88m Ronaldo bid from Juve

Real Madrid are considering a bid of £88m from Juventus for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 33-year-old Portugal forward won his fifth Champions League title with Madrid in May and is the Spanish club’s all-time top scorer with 451 goals.

However, the side finished 17 points behind La Liga champions Barcelona last season and, together with Ronaldo’s age, Juventus were encouraged to make an offer.

The Italian club’s current record transfer fee stands at 90m euros (£79m), which they paid for Argentina forward Gonzalo Higuain in 2016.
