Roger Federer has sailed through to the final of the Australian Open.
His opponent in the semi-final, Korea’s Hyeon Chung, retired from the match in the second set. The 21-year-old enjoyed a magnificent run through the tournament but was forced to quit following what his management has called something "much worse than a regular blister".
Federer, 36, was leading 6-1 5-2. The defending champion is yet to lose a set during the whole tournament.
The Swiss world number two is set to face Marin Cilic for the title match, which takes place on Sunday 28 January at 8.30am UK time.
Federer is seeking a sixth Australian and 20th Grand Slam title.
