Francesco Totti has retired after spending 25 years at Roma.
The 40-year-old ended his playing career with his 786th and final appearance during Sunday's 3-2 win over Genoa on the final day of the Serie A season.
The Italian came on as a 54th-minute substitute to bid an emotional farewell to the Stadio Olimpico crowd.
He is one of the last of a dying breed of one-club-players and it is expected that he will now become a Roma director - although there are rumours he could play on elsewhere.
Totti was 16 when he made his debut for the team and went on to score a club record 307 goals in all competitions.
