Sam Allardyce to step in as Everton manager

Sam Allardyce is expected to step in as the permanent manager of Everton.

The ex-England manager will replace David Unsworth, who was chosen as caretaker after Ronald Koeman was sacked in October.

Allardyce, 63, has been without a job since leaving Crystal Palace in May.

The Toffees currently sit at 17th in the Premier League table.

Alan Pardew was also confirmed as the new manager of West Brom on the same day, replacing Tony Pulis. He was sacked on 20 November after a 10-game run without a single victory.
