Captain Steve Smith and vice-skipper David Warner have been banned from competition for a year by Cricket Australia for their part in a ball-tampering incident that has rocked the sport.
Cameron Bancroft was caught using sandpaper to damage the ball during Australia’s third Test with South Africa. He has been suspended for nine months.
Smith, 28, and Bancroft, 25, have also been suspended from captaining Australia for at least the next two years.
Cricket Australia added that Warner, 31, will not be considered for "any team leadership positions in the future."
The ruling body had already concluded that coach Darren Lehmann was not involved in the controversy and he will remain in his post.
