Stoke City have sacked Gary Rowett as manager after less than eight months in charge.
The Championship side appointed the 44-year-old in May after being relegated from the Premier League.
The Potters were one of the pre-season favourites to win promotion, but they are 14th in the second tier, having won just eight of their 26 league fixtures.
Ex-Stoke midfielder Rory Delap will take charge on a temporary basis until a new permanent manager is found.
