Two unfunded athletes have been named as part of the bobsleigh team for Great Britain for the upcoming Winter Olympics in South Korea.
British Bobsleigh announced it was withdrawing its funding from the women’s team in September, with five months to go to the games in Pyeongchang. The governing body claimed the decision was made to due overspend.
Mica McNeill and Mica Moore were only able to compete on the World Cup circuit this season after raising more than £30,000 through crowdfunding.
They finished in the top 10 in four of their eight World Cup races.
