Uruguay beat Wales in the final of the China Cup in Guangxi.
The South Americans beat Ryan Giggs’ side 1-0, with the deciding goal coming from Edinson Cavani. The Paris Saint-Germain forward has now scored 42 goals for Uruguay in 100 appearances for his country.
Wales were fortunate to go into halftime with the score line goalless, after Barcelona’s Suarez hit the post twice during a frantic first-half.
The Dragons could not find an equaliser to Cavani’s 49th minute goal, despite substitute Lee Evans coming close.
