Usain Bolt has turned down an offer from Maltese football club Valetta FC.
The domestic champions had offered the winner of eight Olympic sprint medals a two-year contract, as Bolt continues his journey into professional football.
However, the 32-year-old Jamaican declined.
Bolt, who is currently on trial at Australia's Central Coast Mariners scored two goals for the team in a recent pre-season friendly but has not been offered a contract.
His agent, Ricky Simms, spoke to ESPN: "Usain does not wish to pursue this Malta opportunity. There is a lot of interest in Usain playing football. We regularly receive similar approaches."
