Newsroom Special - Department of Health estimates 2 in 3 cancer, heart disease and stroke deaths preventable

With cancer, stroke and heart disease topping the list of leading causes of death in the UK, more and more people are seeking preventative measures. Regular health and diagnostic tests can be a huge influence on prevention, but as of October 2018, only 1 in 20 (4.4%) of those eligible for the checks are being offered them, and even less (1.9%) are receiving them.

To tell us more about about the importance of regular screening tests we were joined by expert Cardiologist Dr George Xynopoulos.
