The charity Living Streets has delivered a report to Transport Minister, Jesse Norman, asking him to take urgent action on improving the walk to school for millions of children across the UK.
The move comes as new research revealed that two in five (42%) parents with children aged 4-11 say they are concerned about air pollution around their child’s school, or on their way to school.
