A new study has found current secondary students are worried they could be spending the next few years of their academic careers in ‘the wilderness’.
The research, commissioned by the Career Colleges Trust, found that 31% of respondents admitted they worried the next few years would be a waste of time or that they were unsure of where their education and future career aspirations were headed. Others said they felt that subject areas were irrelevant as the school curriculum is too outdated (25%).
To talk through the findings and the options available for young people, we were joined by CEO of Career Colleges Bev Jones.
