Newsroom Special - Language learning at schools continues to fall

A recent study commissioned by Rosetta Stone has found that foreign language learning is at its lowest level in UK secondary schools.

It's not just only individuals that are losing out by not being able to speak another language - businesses are affected too by having a workforce with lower language proficiency than some of our international neighbours.

To tell us more about the research we were joined by a language expert from Rosetta Stone, Huw Carter.
