Do you ever consider what you’re eating while you’re eating it? It may sound like a simple concept, but the premise of ‘mindful eating’ – merely paying attention to the food you’re eating and how it makes you feel – can allegedly have numerous health and dietary benefits.
Research from LighterLife Fast, suggests that not only have over half (56%) of UK adults started to eat something and not realised they no longer have any of it left, but 74% say they’ve eaten something believing themselves to be hungry, only to have immediately regretted it.
Nutritionist Jenna Hope joined us on the line and told us how she learnt about mindful eating.
